New store, new staff
We have finally confirmed that in September Leonora Sophie (aka. ‘The Mrs’) will be the all new full-time staff member for the Home Normal store as this part time thing is just insane. We’ll also be running posts and updates in both English and Japanese, doing a little bit of distribution here in Japan and beyond, and we are looking into spaces for an actual physical shop space...

Thanks to everyone who bought a copy of ‘The Shattered Light’. It has now sold out here which is really very kind and supportive of you all. Thank you! As its a month away from release I have decided to do a small 250 reissue of this although these won’t be ready until mid-late July now so no early send outs from now on I am afraid. hi guys, just a quick notice that orders are out now - we sent most of them on saturday after we had a heap to sort out friday for distro (cds arrived thursday) so is been a bit mental. we had over 200 orders to fill which have mostly been covered so you should get your orders in the next week :) thanks so much x

Customs attacks, yet again!
Japanese customs have unfortunately not released the new Home Normal albums by Federico Durand and Ekca Liena & Spheruleus. They were due to arrive over two weeks ago, got delayed at the printers and now have been stuck with customs for a week. As a result we have tentatively put the releases back by a week each for stores worldwide, although we are sticking to the release date from the HN...
bvdub has been confirmed to play the Decibel... →
If you are lucky enough to be in the Washington, Portland or anywhere USA area for that matter, then run over to the Decibel festival in Seattle this September as bvdub will be rocking the stage there! It is a rare chance to see a truth genius in action :)
We will try to bring Brock to both Japan and the UK/Europe for a Home Normal world tour next summer so watch this space :)

Thanks to everyone who bought pre-orders of the offthesky vs kinder scout and Federico Durand records. These are now both sold out. I am constantly amazed at the support we get from all quarters and the love of these wonderful artists. Thank you so much.
